Instruction art
In these activities, students need to do an instruction art in a short period of time. In my activities, considering the urgency of time and the limitation of materials, I want to use some common elements that every student will have to carry out.
In this activity, I invite students to observe their hands and share with other students the things and thoughts they recalled when observing their hands, because I think that hands help us work, and there will be many memories. I hope that students will pay more attention to their own bodies and emotions, so I chose to use the element of hands, which is simple but can make you and others understand yourself better.
Represent your food
Before the event, I thought about my personality and then tried to find food related to my personality, and finally, I chose brownie, because brownie is my favorite food to make, and it is a dessert that is easy to share, which means that I like to share what I have and my ideas, and finally I shared a little story about my brownie making. I haven’t changed the recipe for so many years, which means that I am a person who is not willing to challenge and believes in my own experience.
In the following sharing session, I saw that one of the students used Vance Tofu to show herself. by using simple food to express her inner slenderness is very impressive. I can feel that this is the purpose of this activity. I directly understand her through her works and learned a lot from it.
Final Project - Color
This is my first visual art group, and the topic is to choose a color and do some interactive work so that other students can feel the charm of this color from the five senses.
In this plan, we first chose azurite blue as the topic. As a mineral pigment, this color is widely used in traditional paintings. The deep blue is surprising and mysterious. This paint will be affected by the weather and ore quality during production, which makes the process of making this paint more interesting.
And we thought it was interesting that even though this pigment was extracted from underground ores, it was finally represented as the color of the sky, so we finally decided to use azurite blue as the theme.
After deciding on the theme, we first bought azurite and some tools for grinding pigments crushed the ore, and added some oil to make the pigments form. Then we tested the light transmittance of the pigments and found that the pigments using gelatin would be more transparent which led light to pass through. Then on the day of the event, we distribute the glass that can carry the paint to students and invite them to put the glass with the paint on the flashlight of the mobile phone, so that the color can be reflected in the sky. However, due to environmental problems, the ceiling where we are carrying out this activity is not smooth and white. So in the end, we changed the location of the projection from the ceiling to the wall, and the same effect has been achieved.
On the day of the activity, we told some of these instructions to the students and completed the activity.
01
Observe and smell.
02
Turn on your phone light and towards to the ceiling
03
placed the glass on the phone light.
